(FREMONT, Neb.) AccuQuilt, international distributor of fabric cutting solutions for quilting and fabric crafts, announced the introduction of a new book for quilting and fabric crafters, Quilted Curves and Strips with the AccuQuilt GO!. The book, published by DRG and edited by Carolyn S. Vagts, includes 13 projects to make with either the GO!® or GO! Baby® Fabric Cutter, many of them designs that work well for using up fabric scraps.

“Some of our favorite quilt patterns contain curves and strips, but they are not always easy to assemble. The hardest and most time consuming part is often the cutting,” said AccuQuilt Global Sales Manager, Linda Pumphrey. “This book plays up the ease and quickness of die cutting, as well as the versatility of these shapes.” Projects were created by experienced designers who were given the opportunity to “play” with GO! and GO! Baby fabric cutters. Some of the traditional quilting patterns are created with non-traditional fabrics for a new look.

The book includes a photo index, metric conversion chart, specific die-cutting tips, and 125 illustrations to help quilters and fabric crafters navigate the instructions, choose projects and complete projects with no headaches. The book retails for MSRP $14.95 in the U.S and $17.95 in Canada. The book is now available from DRG or AccuQuilt for retailers. Consumers should look for the book at their local retail stores, online stores and www.accuquilt.com.

“We are excited about this book, because it’s a great way for quilters and others to understand all the possibilities for original, custom designed quilts using the AccuQuilt GO! and GO! Baby fabric crafters,” Pumphrey said.

Vagts is the editor of Quilters World magazine. She also edits quilting books and pattern books published by House of White Birches. Because she also is a shop owner and quilt pattern designer, she has a unique window into what quilters want and what makes them tick.

GO!® dies, as well as the GO! Baby® Fabric Cutter and GO!® Fabric Cutter, are available at local quilt and fabric retailers. Quilters also can purchase GO! fabric cutters and dies, along with the Studio™ Fabric Cutter, GO! adapters and hundreds of Studio™ quilting dies, by visiting accuquilt.com or calling 888.258.7913.
