We even have a cozy corner for those who want to “sit this one out”. Visit with us, tell us about your latest or next project and look around. Enter the monthly door prize even if you do not make a purchase. We have lots of nooks and crannies to hunt for treasures. There are lots of out of print fabrics, unusual items, and discounted items. Please ask us to show you our Clearance Room too. We carry many items for quilters, the needle crafter, supplies for the general sewing enthusiasts, fiber artists, knitting, crochet, bead art, and general crafting. Lots of kits if you’re in a time crunch or just can’t make up your mind. We custom cut kits, strips, squares, even will cut your kit from your pattern. Give us your theme or color preference and we will choose for you, or choose some bolts of fabric and we will cut your kit. Embellishments are no problem.
Alteration services with an alteration lady on staff with bridal and beading experience. Men's suits needing tailored we do that too.
Embroidery services include digitizing services. We can get your item digitized most times within a few days. We have embroidery, applique, lettering services. We do Greek Lettering. We do sports team lettering. Call us for a quote on your project. Our staff can sew on patches to your items. We sew onto leather vests too.

Customers are not just customers, but potential friends or "Hangouters". We are here to share our love for quilting, crafts, needlework, and fiber arts. We are here to help others in their journey in this endeavor. We are here to teach, encourage, and expedite education of your craft to all who enter here. We accept all who enter our doors at the level they are at and the skills they have. No one is too much of a beginner or too skilled for us to try to help in any way we can. I can meet or beat any advertised price for these companies for current year items; last season and older we may be able to find the items + maybe even at a discount. Give us a chance to try to save you money on your next project.
Special orders are welcome. We all know the reality that no store can carry EVERY thing. But we are willing to sit down with you and discuss your ideas and do our best to locate exactly what you’re looking for and expedite getting it for you. We do carry so many brands of fabric on premises but we can order what we don’t carry or may be currently out of. “You” are the reason we are in business, and it is “You” we want to serve. We order fabric, notions, thread, patterns, magazines, books, and many other items on a bi-weekly, and monthly schedule. We have many "Quilt Store Only" items available by order or in stock. If you don't see it here on this site does not mean we don't have it or cannot try to get it for you. Ask or call if you can‘t find something. Give us a chance to find it for you. We do offer discounts for prepaid special orders. Buy, sell, trade. We take in your "leftovers" for store credit. We buy bags of fabric scraps by the pound. We have bought from estate sales and other clearance places in the past. Don't discard or give away those unwanted pieces before you see what we can do for you; this is how we get many "lost" and vintage fabrics for our customers. Remember the old adage "One man's trash is another man's treasure"? We just might have the lost fabric for which you have been searching. Sometimes we have to say it is not good for the store, but we work with over 6 charities through clubs that meet in our shop. If we cannot see our way to purchase from you, we can get you unwanteds to someone who does.
Our History: We’ve had an e-bay store since 2007. We then moved to selling on another site in early 2008. In June 2009 we started a small "brick 'n mortar" store in our basement in the outskirts of Cleveland, Tennessee.. We quickly outgrew that space (much to our surprise and delight) and decided it was time to move which landed us in our first location in Historical Downtown Cleveland, Tennessee in November 2009. In less than a year Hyderhangout outgrew that spot and November 2010 moved to the First Street Square in the Five Points Museum District. We are now located at 219 First Street NE, Cleveland, TN. This is on the Historical First Street Square. We are in the heart of everything happening in this beautiful, historical town. We also have social media outlets and are on Facebook, Pinterest, QuiltingHub, and adding more. Come visit all our locations. We host a weekly Facebook Live show all about artists. The most recent addition to our selling venues is the opening of our own website here. Hope you enjoy it and we welcome any comments or suggestions. This site is a work in progress and will be changing and updated as we see areas that need work. If you see an error or spelling error or outdated info, please contact us so we can fix it.
We do have our Wholesale Department. It is important that we support other small businesses and individuals. We hope we can help others to find their dream too.
Those of you who have a business and a Tax ID number, please contact us with this information and we will get you and your wholesale login set up. Please note that this section of our site is in building stages and many of the wholesale prices are not up to date, so when you get this login we ask that you be patient with us and let us update prices as needed. Some of the wholesale prices migrated over from our site before the POS and are either showing a five year old price or no price at all.
