We are located in Wallingford, a beautiful, market town on the River Thames, near Oxford and Henley. Come and see our enormous variety of patchwork fabric and cottons, our fabrics include Moda, Marcus Brothers, Hoffman and Kona Bay as well as an extensive collection of 1930s prints and batiks. We have a permanent Christmas room with seasonal fabrics, advent calendars and panels. We are proud to design our own quilt kits 'in house', including bags, block of the months, cushions, Christmas designs, quilts, small kits & wallhangings. We sell some specialist quilting Husqvarna sewing machines, specialist quilting accessories, waddings, threads, books, patchwork & quilting magazines, ribbons and more! We also carry Simplicity patterns and Curtain Express "ready made" curtains. We are very happy to help with any projects you have on the go, either in person, or by phone. Please appreciate though that at busy times we can't neglect any of our customers. Also please remember to bring your projects (and any instructions) with you if you need to match fabrics, or require any advice from us. You could visit us for patchwork and quilting classes, we also host a variety of social groups. Often we have special events packed full of quilty goodness! If you think your machine needs some specialised T.L.C. then we can arrange to have your sewing machine serviced. Of course as fellow quilters we understand that basting quilts can be back breaking work, especially if space is limited. We have a basting room upstairs in the shop with adjustable tables, that could be just what you are looking for. It can be hired by the day or half day. We may even remember to offer you refreshments throughout the day!
