QUILT AS YOU GO how to assemble part two10:00 am

A class to learn how to make a quilt as you go reversable string quilt.
In preparation for the class students need to get a generous bag of scrap strips assembled to use in their quilt and to trade with other students. The strips are to be of various widths but do need to be the same width the entire length of each individual strip. Backing fabric needs to be picked our prior to start of class. Hyderhangout will be open early on day of class to allow for students to get materials if needed.
Class cost will include an instructional pattern.

Bags of pre cut strips avaiable at Hyderhangout. Students may trade at class with other students to expand their strip collection.
Optional sashing, backing ,and batting kits are available for order at class sign up.

Requirements: Your own sewing machine and sewing box with thread, cutters, scissors and other supplies.
Instructor: Jackie Cory
Instructor Bio: Jackie Cory, a local Cleveland artist, has been producing visual art since childhood. She has been a quilt teacher for more than 30 years. Her degree in Fine Arts has led to pieces published in trade magazines like Quilt World and others.
