Spooling Around The Block Block of the Month Class
Written for ease of use as a 12 month Block of the Month, this pattern is also an easy Fat Quarter pattern - requiring just 13 fat quarters, one yard of black and some background. All applique templates included in the pattern are full size - no need to enlarge! This quilt would be perfect to display in your sewing room, or as a gift for a sewing friend. No one can resist the vintage sewing machine which takes center stage! Alternating monthly between pieced and machine appliqué blocks, this pattern provides the best of both - simple but stunning pieced blocks together with eye-catching appliqué.

Hyderhangout is going to feature Fossil fern fabrics from Benartex for the colorful fabrics. The blacks will be a nice solid. The sewing machine will be made with a shiny black and other objects of applique that are in real life made out of metal will be of appropriate fabrics.
