Wearable Art Quilting Batik Jackets 10:00 am

This class will teach you how to make a quilted jacket. A basic jacket from a basic three piece pattern. You may bring a pattern from your home stash, or get one of the patterns from Hyderhangout. This class focuses on batik fabrics, but you may choose to bring other fabrics. Bring a pile or bag of batik fabrics from your leftover projects. Or you may purchase some fabric from our wonderful supply. Delve into the wonderful world of wearable art with this basic class. The beginner in wearble art will fit right into this class.

Requirements: Basic sewing skills, sewing machine, sewing box with basic supplies. Fabric to make your jacket.
Instructor: Jackie Cory
Instructor Bio: Jackie Cory, a local Cleveland artist, has been producing visual art since childhood. She has been a quilt teacher for more than 30 years. Her degree in Fine Arts has led to pieces published in trade magazines like Quilt World and others.
