Biography
Donna has been sewing since the age of four and quilting since 1975. It has carried her happily through her earlier years as an Army wife and the many years and moves since. Having taught nationally and internationally, she is the author of many previous quilt titles with Martingale, Inc. teaching precision rotary cutting and machine piecing: Small Talk, Shortcuts (imperial and metric versions, and four foreign language translations), A Perfect Match, Shortcuts to the Top, Stripples, Stripples Strikes Again!, Scrappy Duos, and the designer of the Bias Stripper™ ruler. Portable Patchwork: Who Says You Can't take it With You!, about integrating hand and machine piecing, was published by Kansas City Star books in 2008.
