Stuffing Soft material used to stuff or fill: such as. a : a soft material (such as cotton or polyester) used to fill upholstered furniture, cushions, bedding, etc. Polyester is the most popular stuffing used for toys is polyester stuffing, available at most sewing and hobby stores and not too expensive. Extremely lightweight and machine washable, making it perfect for plush toys.

Fusibles: A group of products known as interfacing gives support and stabilizes areas of a panel ready to be attached to a garment. Interfacing is also used for reinforcing and preventing fabric from stretching. Interfacing works by applying heat which melts the glue and in turn bonds the fusing to the fabric. Iron on hem facings, batting joining tape, and other items are in this group.
