Description: Mettler Poly Sheen is a universal embroidery thread designed for all purposes. Made of bright, shiny trilobal premium polyester, this thread combines a balance of brightness and strength with excellent wash and wear properties. In addition to its excellent colorfastness to sunlight, chlorine and washing, it also provides excellent resistance to abrasion. Great for a wide range of fabrics, machine embroidery and quilting. Size 40 200 meter / 220 yard. Mettler Poly Sheen is a superior trilobal polyester thread that features a brilliant sheen, high tensile strength, controlled elongation, excellent colorfastness, and abrasion resistance. Designed for embroidery on a wide variety of fabrics including sportswear, caps, towels, linens and leather. Also excellent for quilting and decorative stitching. This thread has all the advantages of rayon, and much more besides. All tests confirm it. Better elongation and a 50% improvement in tensile strength mean a huge increase in stitch consistency. No breaking threads to interrupt your work. And even under the most demanding conditions, the trilobal polyester thread keeps its brilliance. All that, plus 351 colors and two spool sizes. No one offers more. So it's time to say goodbye to rayon; the future belongs to Mettler Poly Sheen®. It can be frustrating. So many hours spent embroidering delicious designs and in no time they fade. Because Poly Sheen® has all the good qualities of rayon but none of the bad, its construction creates unparallel colorfastness and brilliance. Poly Sheen® is constructed of trilobal polyester. Because it's 50% stronger than rayon, it prevents the thread from breaking. Mettler Poly Sheen® keeps your machine stitching. So, why embroider with anything else?
